Judith R. Sabah, MD PhDDr. Sabah is a board-certified medical and surgical ophthalmologist with fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. Dr. Sabah’s expertise includes cataract surgery, including premium lens implantation, glaucoma management, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, eyelid surgery, botox, strabismus (abnormal eye alignment), nasolacrimal duct obstruction, and amblyopia therapy.

Throughout her career, Dr. Sabah has been active in research and education. Dr. Sabah has published in multiple scientific journals, she has co-authored book chapters and presented at national and international conferences. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

Originally from France, Dr. Sabah earned her PhD, MBA and Medical Degree (MD) in the Midwest US. She completed an ophthalmology residency in California at UC Davis, and a pediatric and adult strabismus fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Before joining our practice Dr. Sabah served patients in Eugene, Oregon for several years in private practice and at the VA healthcare center.

Dr. Sabah moved to New York with her husband and their daughter, to join Dr. Grant and to be closer to her family friends. In her free time, Dr. Sabah enjoys spending time with her family, fitness training, reading, baking and doing craft work.
